Christmas decorations

I think we need a few weeks of Christmas to get used to all the decorations we've seen over the last couple of weeks.
Different styles for different cultures/countries:

Sweden

Berlin

Berlin - in a major store called KaDeWe that I kept on calling Tae Kwon Do - as I couldn't remember the name.  (I was quite stunned when one Berliner didn't know the name of this famous store; because I was saying and writing TaKaDo - no wonder the poor girl was baffled! We all had a good laugh.)

(Note my elegant (men's) yellow suede shoes - Euros12 bought from a street seller in Rome- just near the McDonald's where they cautioned me about using my iPhone as gypsies were around. I tried the shoes on in very elegant surroundings - a ripped top of the shoe box on the ground.  The tag on the shoes was then, not torn or cut off but, burnt off with the seller's cigarette lighter. No problem with wrapping or a receipt.)

It was rather cold in Berlin so these decorations seemed appropriate.

Seville - a true Christian celebration - like nothing else I have seen
In Seville there are, of course, many churches and many Cathedrals with the major one dominating the main square/ area.  As we walked down one side, we came across all of these temporary stalls that extended down one side and round to the other.

Here you can buy not only nativity scenes (large and small, expensive or relatively cheap) but also everything you could possibly imagine to complete or complement what you already have.

There are fruits, grains, wells (plain or pump operated), trees, animals, soldiers, shepherds, angels (in all shapes and sizes).  You name it, it's there from 2 or 3 for Euro1 upto a couple of hundred Euros.
