We were advised yesterday ( but it was not backed up by action until today) that our travel insurance claim for the additional travel costs we incurred as a result of the general transport strike in Rome, has been paid in full.
Thank goodness!
Now all I need - apart from a Lotto win - is a new set of knees.
I'm sure we'll survive regardless.

Good news indeed re insurance. Are you visiting the Vasa Museum whilst in Stockholm - it houses a complete galleon recovered from the sea. Truly amazing. I also loved the old town (Gamla Stan) in Stockholm.
