LONDON - by the other J
Before I make my first real entry into the blog, I would like to thank all the people who disrupted their everyday lives and made a special effort to come out and see us. Your kindness was much appreciated. Special thanks to Stuart for working so hard to try and include me in everything even though I was jet lagged, always seeming to be five minutes behind the conversation, and about to drop off to sleep. So special thanks to Stuart for his patience and understanding.

The last morning in London didn't start so well but picked up. Originally, J and I were to visit a music store which ended up not being there anymore. Very disappointing. However after that we went for breakfast which lifted us a little. It was a full English Breakfast which meant two serves of everything. Bacon, eggs, beans, toast + butter etc plus two very big mugs of coffees for £4.95 each.
After that, Julie did the traditional tourist thing and had her photo taken with a mounted member of the Household Cavalry. However, you may not see this photo as she had the sun in her eyes. (Note from Editor: no way Jose is the photo getting any further than the delete bin).
My last trip down memory lane in London was a happy but slightly disreputable one. The number 53 bus was one of the buses that I used to commute to and from school everyday. Perhaps all that should be said about this was supposedly well educated young men whilst at school, turned into a mob of transistor radio playing hoons, who also liked to try injuring themselves and others by jumping on and off moving buses. …. Ah happy days!
